Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

🚀 We're Hiring: QA Automation Engineer

📍 Location: Mumbai (Hybrid – 3 days/week in-office)

At GovEVA, are ESG experts who help large enterprises decode and deliver on their ESG and sustainability goals through data, automation, and insights.

We’re now looking for a hands-on engineer who can take ownership of two critical areas:

🛠️ What You’ll Own:

✅ Test Automation (Greenfield)

Set up the foundation for automated testing across our MEAN stack platform

Work with devs, QA and customer success to identify what to automate and when

Build the test strategy: unit, integration, regression, end-to-end

Choose and implement relevant tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.)

Maintain a healthy balance between automation coverage and manual exploratory testing

✅ DevOps (Process and Pipeline Maturity)

Improve and streamline our deployment approach, service rollout, and environment consistency

Help developers move faster without breaking things

Identify recurring pain points in build, release, and ops—and automate them

🧠 Who You Are:

2–4 years of hands-on experience in QA automation, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps tooling

Strong scripting skills (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred, but Python/Bash works too)

Comfortable working across testing levels: UI, API, database

You’re not afraid to start from scratch and build systems the right way

You value clean documentation, reproducibility, and developer experience

You’ve worked in fast-moving teams and can make judgment calls without needing perfect specs

🌟 Nice to Have (but not required):

Experience working with MEAN stack-based products

Exposure to ESG or compliance-driven environments (where accuracy matters deeply)
