Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases for web and mobile applications.


  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.


  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand feature requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.


  • Use tools such as JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.


  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.


  • Identify opportunities where automation can be gradually implemented.


  • Support basic automation initiatives under the guidance of senior automation engineers.


  • Document and report bugs effectively, including clear steps to reproduce and root cause analysis.


  • Work with team members to continuously improve QA processes and documentation standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4–5 years of experience in Software Testing, with a primary focus on manual testing.


  • Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or Cypress.


  • Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools like JIRA.


  • Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC, including test planning and execution.


  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.


  • Basic familiarity with version control systems such as Git is a plus.


  • Foundational knowledge of SQL for database-level testing.


  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
