Job Summary:

Quality Assurance Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of software products.
• Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality at every stage of the development lifecycle.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved and validate fixes.
• Contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks and scripts.
• Continuously improve testing processes and best practices.
• Provide feedback on usability and functionality during software reviews.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in using test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Experience testing APIs and web services.
