Job Title: Manual QA Tester (1–3 Years Experience)

Key Responsibilities

Test Case Design & Documentation:

• Review business and functional requirements to identify testing needs.
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation throughout the testing lifecycle.

Manual Testing Execution:

• Perform functional, usability, regression, system integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Test web and mobile applications across different browsers and devices.
• Validate bug fixes and enhancements to ensure quality before release.

Bug Tracking & Collaboration:

• Log defects with detailed steps to reproduce using tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to clarify issues and follow up on fixes.
• Re-test and verify resolved issues before release.

Quality Process & Improvements:

• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and review meetings in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal QA processes, checklists, and templates.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and timely delivery of test reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.
• Familiarity with tools like Excel/Google Sheets, Jira, TestRail, or similar.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have (Optional):

• Basic understanding of API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS/JS to inspect and debug frontend issues.
• Exposure to cross-browser, responsive, or compatibility testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
