Job Title: QA Test Analyst 1

Job Summary:

QA Test Analyst 1


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements and specifications to develop detailed and structured test cases.
  • Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
  • Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to resolve issues.
  • Assist in test planning, effort estimation, and progress tracking.
  • Maintain and update test documentation regularly.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum team ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, ALM).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) is a plus.
  • Experience in testing APIs and mobile applications.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level Certification preferred.
  • Understanding of performance or security testing concepts (optional).
