Job Description

Job Summary:

Purchase Executive


Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies and project requirements.
  • Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (warehouse, production, finance) to ensure procurement needs are met.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Handle discrepancies with deliveries, invoices, or supplier performance and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist in developing procurement strategies and cost-saving initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, inventory systems, and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
