Urgent opening for Purchase Executive- Solar company with Good salary Location- Near Hopes, Coimbatore Key Responsibilities Lead-to-End Procurement Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for electrical, mechanical, and automation components. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Order & Inventory Management Generate POs, monitor delivery timelines, and ensure timely GRN processing. Track inventory, forecast material needs, and avoid stock outs or overstock. Vendor Relationship & Performance Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; address performance or quality issues promptly. Conduct regular supplier evaluations and reverse suboptimal agreements. Cost & Market Analysis Compare quotes, perform cost analyses, and track market trends to enable strategic sourcing. Internal Coordination Collaborate with project engineering, warehouse, and finance to align material requirements. Resolve urgent procurement needs arising from production changes. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate documentation: POs, vendor records, delivery schedules, and invoices. Prepare procurement MIS reports and present insights to management. Process Improvement & Compliance Continuously optimize purchasing procedures and enforce adherence to company policies. Assist in implementing procurement systems Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. Experience: 2–5 years in procurement, preferably in industrial or automation sectors. Technical Proficiency: Strong MS Office skills (Excel for data analysis). CRM and Tally Experience must Core Competencies: Strong negotiation, communication, analytical acumen, attention to detail, and organizational ability. Personal Attributes: Proactive, solution-driven, comfortable working under pressure, and capable of multitasking.
