Proposal Engineer

Dear Candidates We are Looking for Proposal Engineer.

Job Location :- Chennai

Experience :- 2 to 6 Years

Roles and Responsibilities :-

Process design and simulation of customised absorption chiller unit meeting customer’s requirement/application, using in-house developed design software.

* Optimization & Selection of cooling products like absorption chillers, heat pumps, evaporative condensers, closed loop cooling towers, fin fan coolers, adiabatic coolers etc., suitable to customer’s application using in-house developed design software/HTRI etc.

* Preparation of techno - commercial proposal for absorption product basket. Preparation of technical response / reply to tenders, bids.

* Costing, Pricing of Chiller based on customization requirements of client.

* Participating in techno-commercial discussions with client along with Sales team. Interaction with Sales team, Customer and internal departments for sorting out open issues and providing technical clarifications.

* Transferring chiller design inputs & order information to backend team on order receipt. Interaction with vendors for quotations of bought-out components required for costing

* Coordination for large projects and support for document submission and approval from customer

Critical Competencies for the Job:

1. Good interpersonal/networking skills; Effective prioritizing & time management.

2. Knowledge of heat & mass transfer, basic engineering principles.

3. Good verbal & written English communication for interaction with teams across the globe

4. On time support to sales team, positive attitude

5. Good knowledge on MS Excel, MS Word; basic knowledge of programming (C++, VB, excel macros etc)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
