Project Engineer – Solar PV, BESS & Electrical (Australia Projects)

.As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projectsfrom conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, andto the required quality standards. You will work closely with our Booking Team,Installation teams (Australia), and Procurement teams to achieve all project objectives.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Reviewing and approving all sales team designs, drawings, and calculations, and
  

performing design studies to ensure compliance with Australian standards.

• Developing in-house electrical designs for solar PV and BESS, including single-line
  

diagrams, layouts, cable sizing, and equipment selection.

• Supporting procurement by preparing technical specifications, evaluating proposals,
  

and ensuring equipment selection aligns with project requirements.

• Supporting subcontracted consultants in developing detailed designs and verifying
  

deliverables for compliance with technical specifications.

• Contributing to the early-stage tendering process by evaluating technical feasibility
  

and developing preliminary designs for solar PV and BESS.

• Reviewing all CRM checklists, selfies, mandatory photos, and ensuring proper
  

commissioning procedures have been followed by contractors upon job completion.

• Ensuring electrical designs comply with Australian Standards, Grid Codes, and project
  

specifications, and supporting the development of as-built documentation.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to align all Solar pv & Bess
  

Installers with other project disciplines.

• Contributing to new business initiatives and leading by example to promote high
  

technical standards within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma degree in engineering or electrical field.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in project engineering or a related role.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in small- and large-scale solar, BESS, or power
  

generation projects.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans,
  

schedules, manage booking and installer teams, and provide excellent client
experiences.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
