The best run DevOps teams in the world choose Perforce. Senior Director of Product Management, for the Akana team at Perforce is searching for a Product Owner to join the team. The Product Owner at Perforce will lead the product at all stages of the product lifecycle and closely partner with customers. The product owner will also work collaboratively with all colleagues in the Research & Development, Marketing and Sales organizations to drive product improvement and new product development, and to ensure the successful business performance of the product. The Akana product at Perforce is an enterprise API management solution handling mission critical core applications for some of the largest corporations in the world. Frequently ranked as a top vendor for API Management, the Akana solution and expertise helps leading organizations take APIs from strategy and design to deployment and optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop user requirements and translate them into product solutions that satisfy customers’ needs
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of strategies within the lifecycle of existing products
• Manage and enhance product quality, ensure ease of use, and continually evaluate product performance to improve functionality and delivery
• Ensure alignment with company objectives and market demands
• May be required to support additional products/brands as needed
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to take risks and embrace a culture of learning
• Team player mentality with a customer-focused attitude
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• API development or implementation experience preferred
• Software development experience preferred
