The Product Development & Innovation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving new or existing products through innovative solutions. This role requires collaboration across teams to turn concepts into functional, market-ready products, ensuring alignment with customer needs, technological trends, and organizational goals.
Develop and prototype new products or improve existing ones based on market research and user feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, marketing, and quality control.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses for product concepts.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Prepare technical documentation, including product specifications, testing protocols, and process guidelines.
Lead pilot projects and support the transition from design to mass production.
Identify opportunities for patenting innovations and support intellectual property processes.
Ensure products comply with relevant standards, certifications, and regulations.
Analyze product performance data and propose enhancements as needed.
Contribute to innovation strategy and help build a culture of continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Product Design, or related field).
2–5 years of experience in product development, R&D, or innovation roles.
Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation software.
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and product life cycles.
Experience in rapid prototyping and design validation methods.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Creative thinking and innovation mindset
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Project management and multitasking
Attention to detail and technical writing proficiency
