Performance Test Engineer

Job Title: Performance Tester

Location: Chennai
Experience: 7+ years

We are looking for a skilled Performance Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing performance testing strategies to ensure high-performing, scalable, and reliable software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement performance test strategies, plans, and test scripts.
• Conduct load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or equivalent for test execution.
• Monitor and analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend performance improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot and tune performance issues.
• Create detailed reports of performance metrics and test results.
• Participate in Agile development processes and attend scrum meetings.
• Automate performance testing within CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad).
• Strong understanding of performance testing types and concepts.
• Familiarity with web services and APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or Shell) is a plus.
• Good understanding of system architecture, databases, and networks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹443,077.53 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
