Job Title: Automation Tester – Appium Location: Bangalore, India Experience: 3+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Tester with at least 3 years of experience in mobile automation testing using Appium and strong expertise in any scripting language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of mobile applications. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop robust and reusable Appium test scripts for Android and iOS platforms. Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver effective test coverage. Execute regression, functional, and integration tests as part of the release cycle. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar. Optimize existing automation frameworks and suggest improvements. Provide timely and detailed status reports on testing progress and issues. Required Skills: 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing. Proficiency with Appium for mobile test automation. Experience in scripting with Java, Python, JavaScript , or any relevant language. Good understanding of mobile app architectures and testing methodologies. Experience with tools such as TestNG, JUnit, Maven/Gradle , and Git . Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins , GitHub Actions , or GitLab CI . Familiarity with version control systems and agile methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
