Summary of the profile:

Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes

What you'll do here:

• Understanding the non-functional requirements from business.
• Conduct meeting with the business or development team to identify the scope.
• Thorough understanding of business and the infrastructure.
• Preparing the performance test strategy.
• Analysing the critical business scenarios.
• Analysing the service level agreement objectives.
• Analysing the tool capabilities & securing the performance test environment
• Developing & reviewing the test scripts, workload model.
• Conducting defect triage meetings and communicate with business/development team

manager regularly.

• Enhancing the scripts by creating/implementing Parameterization, Checkpoints, Transactions,

Reusable functions, Correlations, Actions/Blocks, Iterations, Pacing, Think Time.

• Test Execution & monitoring.
• Analysing the test results and reporting.

What you will need to thrive:

• Must have experience in Performance testing of Web based applications preferably using JMeter or any other open-source performance testing tool.
• Must have experience working on the following protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, Web Services, True

Client.

• Must have experience in creating Server Sizing document.
• Should have experience testing in Cloud environment preferably Soft layer, Azure or AWS.
• Must have experience in developing performance testing strategy and define

performance/scalability metrics.

• Work with developers, product development, and operations teams to create Load testing

scenarios.

• Should have experience in analyzing JVM performance problems related to garbage collection

& memory leaks.

• Design and implement a performance/reliability methodology.
• Publish and perform the Load/Stress tests and certify the release of web applications for

various performance levels without compromising on Application Security.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree or related field required
