Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Executive to manage the complete US payroll process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US payroll regulations and compliance, with proven experience in processing payroll from start to finish. This role involves accurate payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end US payroll processing including data collection, verification, and timely payroll disbursement.
  • Process regular payroll runs (weekly) accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, leaves, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Calculate and process employee benefits, tax withholdings, garnishments, and other deductions.
  • Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Prepare and file payroll reports accurately and on schedule.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (HR, Finance) as necessary.
  • Support audits and respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in end-to-end US payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of US payroll legislation, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software/tools and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with employees, management, and vendors.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently and collaboratively.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with payroll software such as ADP, Workday, or Paycom is a plus.
  • BCom Graduate
