Operations & Maintenance (O& M) Engineer Solar Job in brief :Operations & Maintenance (O& M) Engineer is expected to design roof top solar PV projects and design roof top solar hot water systems, oversee the project from conception to completion including sourcing of solar PV panels and solar hot water systems and manage work with EPC contractors. is a primary interface between customers and company. S/he will develop business for project sales i.e. identifying new prospects through various sources and expanding business with the established clients, generating leads, techno-commercial analysis of their consumption and estimation of power required, negotiation, presentation ,follow ups, visits, track the progress and close the deals. ITI /Technitian at Solar projects can apply KeySkills: ·        Minimum 1 years’ relevant work-experience in operation and maintenance of solar power projects ·       Manage preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and predictive maintenance jobs carried out in the field as per the planning and record keeping for the same. ·       Solar Equipment Module cleaning every 2 weeks ·       Fault rectification in Array Box and Inverter Substation ·       Minimize the generation loss and Increase efficiency loses in module / strings ·       Maintenance of i.e. (Cabling on String Monitoring box, Connector Tightening on string Monitoring, Earth Switch ,Isolator and HT penal, UPS & battery banks) ·       Preventive activity breakdown & Annual Shutdown Maintenance ·       Preparing the monthly & Daily generation reports related to availability ·       Trustworthiness, team player ·       Good knowledge using MS office, especially MS Word ,MS Excel and internet search and social media marketing ·       Willingness to learn and flexible approach ·       Self-starter ·       Two-Wheeler Required with valid driving license and mental and physical fitness for field-sales job Major responsibilities: ·       Generating sales leads by personal visits to industrial estates , meeting the enterprises and business- owners and giving demonstrations for project-sale, participating in solar energy conferences , participating in Solar energy networking bodies, installing stalls, participating relevant events, and exhibitions, webinars ·       Interact with customers to gauge their consumption patterns, estimate requirements and understand buying behaviour, determining pricing, negotiating all contracts/orders with prospective clients, answering client questions about payment terms, prices, availability and delivery time and ensure their satisfaction ·       Design roof top and mounted solar PV projects ·       Design of roof top and mounted solar hot water systems ·       Project management skills to oversee the project from conception to completion. ·       Sourcing and procurement for solar PV and solar hot water systems ·       Manage and work with EPC sub-contractors
