As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and build robust data solutions that support enterprise analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, understand business use cases, and translate them into scalable and secure data engineering Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Airflow
Write and manage efficient SQL queries and database objects in SQL Server
Implement and maintain Dimensional Data Models, including Star Schema, facts/dimensions, and relationships
Use Databricks Unity Catalog for data governance, security, and access control across workspaces
Participate in end-to-end development lifecycles, from requirement gathering to testing and deployment
Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
Contribute to code reviews, write test cases, and ensure data accuracy and pipeline performance
Follow SDLC best practices including version control and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Interface directly with customers for project scoping, timeline planning, and Skills :
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong expertise in SQL Server and query optimization
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
Good understanding of ETL processes and data modeling (Transactional & Dimensional)
Experience with at least one complete development lifecycle or end-to-end ETL project
Familiarity with Airflow for orchestration
Knowledge of CI/CD and source control (Azure Skills :
Ability to write and validate test code
Experience working with functional users and converting requirements into data models
Project management awareness: scoping, estimates, timeline Skills :
Python programming
SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
Exposure to Azure DevOps Repos or similar source control tools
