Data Analyst (Data Visualization & Reporting)

Key Responsibilities

• Work with large datasets from various inspection sources (LiDAR, drones, thermal imaging).
• Build insightful dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Develop and deploy predictive models and statistical analyses to detect anomalies and prevent failures.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to translate complex data into operational insights.
• Ensure high-quality, clean, and consistent data by implementing validation pipelines.
• Apply basic electrical domain knowledge (fault detection, insulator/conductor analysis, etc.) for enriched interpretations.
• Continuously improve analysis workflows and automate repetitive data processes.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst/Data Scientist.
• Strong skills in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R for data manipulation.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools : Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
• Experience in working with time-series data or sensor-based data from industrial sources.
• Exposure to predictive analytics, ML algorithms, or data modeling techniques.
• Solid understanding of data pipelines and best practices in data management.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP for data processing is a plus.
• Background or familiarity with geospatial data or tools like QGIS is a bonus.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Prior experience with inspection data, IoT, or utilities/power transmission systems.
• Knowledge of domain-specific platforms used for power line inspections.
• Certification in data analysis/ML platforms (Google Data Analytics, Microsoft DA, etc.
