Job Overview:

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Node.js Developer to join our in-house development team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js, along with solid working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL and MongoDB). You will be responsible for server-side logic, API development, and ensuring application performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side applications using Node.js.
• Design and build robust and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Implement security measures and protect data across platforms.
• Design and maintain database schemas using SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and MongoDB aggregations.
• Use ORMs like Sequelize and Mongoose for database interactions.
• Guide and support junior developers within the team.
• Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and best practices in backend development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in frameworks like Express.js.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with ORM libraries like Sequelize and Mongoose.
• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Prior experience in leading or mentoring a small development team is a plus.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
