Job Description

Job Summary:

.NET Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level web applications using
.NET Framework 4.5 or above
(C# or VB.NET).
Build and consume
RESTful Web APIs
and integrate third-party services.
Design database structures, write complex queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance using
SQL Server
or
PostgreSQL
.
Participate in the full software development life cycle including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, testers, DevOps, and business analysts.
Follow coding standards, perform code reviews, and apply best practices for maintainability and performance.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide production support when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5–10 years of hands-on experience in software development using
C# and/or VB.NET
.
Strong experience with
.NET Framework 4.5 or above
and
ASP.NET MVC
.
Proficient in building and integrating
Web APIs (RESTful services)
using
ASP.NET Web API
.
Solid experience with
SQL Server
and/or
PostgreSQL
, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with
Entity Framework
and/or
ADO.NET
for data access and ORM-based development.
Good understanding of
object-oriented programming (OOP)
,
design patterns
, and
coding best practices
.
Exposure to
version control systems
such as
Git
.
Experience working in an
Agile/Scrum
development environment.
Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills
, with great attention to detail.
Experience with
unit testing frameworks
like NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit.
