Job Descritpion of Microsoft Fabric Developer

6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Fabric Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data engineering, modeling, and integration, along with a strong command of Azure services and Power BI for end-to-end data pipeline and analytics delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Design & Implementation:

Build robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components, enabling seamless ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) from diverse sources such as Azure Data Lake, on-premise databases, and third-party systems.

Data Modeling:

Design efficient and optimized data warehouse models within Microsoft Fabric to support analytical workloads and improve query performance.

Data Integration:

Utilize Fabric’s data integration tools to connect and unify data from disparate systems, ensuring high data quality and consistency.

Machine Learning Integration:

Collaborate with data scientists to integrate Azure Machine Learning models within Microsoft Fabric for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.

Power BI Integration:

Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, leveraging processed and curated data within the Fabric environment.

Azure Expertise:

Leverage extensive knowledge of Azure services such as Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake for end-to-end data solutions.

Required Skills:

• Programming Languages: Proficient in Python, SQL, and optionally Spark SQL for data processing and analytics.
• Data Warehousing: Strong grasp of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Cloud Computing: Solid experience working with the Microsoft Azure platform and cloud-based data management tools.
• Microsoft Fabric Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric’s data engineering, data integration, data science, and data warehouse capabilities.
• Data Visualization: Proficient in designing Power BI dashboards and visualizations to support business intelligence initiatives.

Desirable Skills:

Experience or familiarity with SAP BW is a plus.
