Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented IPQC Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team. The role involves conducting in-process inspections and tests to ensure that products meet specified standards during the production lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment, especially in the automotive or precision parts industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process inspections at various stages of production to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Conduct routine and non-routine testing of materials, components, and final products.
  • Monitor and document production quality performance, identifying trends or recurring issues.
  • Work closely with the Production and Engineering teams to resolve any quality-related problems in real-time.
  • Maintain accurate and complete quality control records, including inspection reports, deviation logs, and non-conformance reports.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.
  • Support audits, both internal and external, by providing required documentation and inspection data.
  • Ensure that all inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in IPQC or a similar quality inspection role in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards, tools, and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 5 Whys, Fishbone).
  • Familiarity with automotive quality systems (e.g., IATF 16949) is a strong plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Skilled in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic data entry/reporting software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Quality Control/Assurance (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt)
  • Experience working in an automotive components manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of statistical quality control techniques and tools
  • MBA is preferred
