Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze software requirements and functional specifications.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test plans.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects clearly and accurately.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand new features and resolve issues.
  • Perform regression, integration, and system testing across web/mobile applications.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for testing activities and findings.
  • Participate in periodic reviews and workflow improvement sessions


Required Skills

  • Proficient in manual testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and bug life cycle.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (such as JIRA or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience (3-7 years) in manual software testing.
  • Familiarity with web technologies and user interface validation.
  • Exposure to vendor management or workflow automation software is a plus.
