Job Description

Calix is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Apps Development Manager to lead our dynamic team of 10 developers specializing in both Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on expertise, and proven experience in managing a team of developers in a fast-paced, agile environment. This role requires a deep understanding of hybrid mobile app development frameworks and the ability to oversee the entire development lifecycle from inception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 10 mobile app developers (Android and iOS) to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and design.
Oversee the entire development process, including planning, execution, and delivery of mobile applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
Implement and maintain agile methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project management.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the most current and effective tools and practices.
Manage the deployment process, ensuring smooth and timely releases of mobile applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during development and deployment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing a team of mobile app developers in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Strong hands-on technical expertise in both Android and iOS development.
Experience with hybrid mobile app development frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with cloud services and backend integration.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

Location:

India – (Flexible hybrid work model - work from Bangalore office for 20 days in a quarter)
