Brand Vision & Philosophy:


Traya was created with a global vision to create awareness around hair loss, de-stigmatise it while empathising with the customers that it has an emotional and psychological impact. Most importantly, to combine 3 different sciences (Ayurveda, Allopathy and Nutrition) to create the perfect holistic solution for hair loss patients.

We want to be synonymous with the term hair fall and hair care. We are building a brand that does not compromise on efficacy and is loved by customers.


The Traya Model:


Our secret lies in the power of diagnosis. Our unique platform diagnoses the patient’s hair & health history, to identify the root cause behind hair fall and delivers customized hair kits to them right at their doorstep. We have a strong adherence system in place via medically-trained hair coaches and proprietary tech, where we guide the customer across their hair growth journey, and help them stay on track.


About the role:


We are seeking a results-driven International Business Manager to expand our global market presence and drive international sales growth. The candidate would help us win and expand in international markets, and will be responsible to discover, validate and prioritize international needs within the organization and manage projects through completion.


What are you expected to do?


  1. Oversee all aspects of newly launched international business including business planning, online marketing, product management, analytics, customer retention and technology
  2. Work with the business team to design go-to-market (GTM) strategy to successfully launch the brand on our D2C channel as per business plans and requirements
  3. Work with global legal & compliance partners to launch the business & products in the respective international markets
  4. Monitor paid marketing campaigns and coordinate with internal growth / performance team on a daily basis, to ensure highest possible ROAS and overall ROI. Monitor and drive sales from different channels of marketing including Direct, SEM, Affiliate, Email, Social and others
  5. Enablement Sales through Market Analysis & Secondary Data Research - Prospect Intelligence, Market Intelligence & Competitor Intelligence
  6. Identifies risks, threats, or opportunities that could impact the success of the project. Identify, create and channelize new areas of opportunities in D2C sales
  7. Overlook the day-to-day management of online sales to ensure effective and timely delivery and continuous growth through sales optimization and customer satisfaction
  8. Partner closely with Business Leaders, Customer Retention, Operations teams, and other cross functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals
  9. Build, lead and guide different cross-functional teams as required, to effectively drive execution and performance
  10. Develop knowledge around business and functional domains and understand business and process related challenges to identify and execute improvement opportunities through a blend of process re-engineering, process simplification and process management


What are we looking for?


  • Brand Management or Consulting experience in international business at a high growth startup or MNC.
  • Prior international business experience in healthcare organisation is a big plus.
  • Data driven approach and very strong knowledge of Google & Meta
  • Education from T-1 colleges. MBA is a plus but not mandatory
  • Over and above - a strong-willed, sharp problem solver and very strong in execution
  • While this role involves an element of strategizing, we expect candidates to have an ear to the ground, get their hands dirty, and solve real problems.
