Job Description

Position: Implementation Engineer – AI VoiceBot

Experience: 2 to 5 years


Role Summary:


We are looking for Implementation Engineers to join our AI VoiceBot team. This role requires a

strong foundation in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript), prompt

engineering, debugging, and a solid understanding of conversational AI concepts.

Engineers will be responsible for building and configuring VoiceBot workflows, working in a

sandbox environment to prototype solutions, testing them thoroughly, and deploying them into

production following client approval. As the bridge between customer requirements and product

execution, this role demands technical precision, problem-solving skills, and attention to

detail.


Key Responsibilities:


● Understand and interpret client requirements gathered during onboarding

● Build and configure VoiceBot workflows, logic, and responses in a sandbox environment

● Apply prompt engineering techniques to ensure optimal performance of the bot

● Test voicebot behavior across various scenarios to ensure reliability and accuracy

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success &

Onboarding team) to resolve technical or logic issues

● Move bots into production environments post-client approval

● Document build logic, edge cases, and configuration details for future reference

● Continuously optimize bot behavior based on client feedback and usage data


Must-Have Qualifications:

● 2–5 years of experience in implementation, technical onboarding, or support roles within

SaaS or tech

● Strong understanding of conversational AI concepts and prompt engineering

● Familiarity with API workflows and basic technical integrations

● Hands-on experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar)

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

● Strong verbal and written communication in English

● Comfortable working in client-facing situations with technical stakeholders


Good to Have:

● Experience working with voicebot platforms (e.g., Vapi, Gumloop, Twilio Voice, etc.)

● Knowledge of LLM-based function calling, fallback strategies, and workflow design

● Exposure to building chatbots or voicebots using open-source tools or proprietary

platforms

● Understanding of telephony systems, call routing, and audio experience optimization
