Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Associate with 2-3 years of relevant experience to join our Human Resources team in Mumbai. The HR Associate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive HR experience within a dynamic financial services organization. Key responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing candidates through various channels, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and conducting initial interviews. Prepare offer letters and manage the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires. Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment-related documentation. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing timely and accurate information. Assist in the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and activities. Support the HR Manager in addressing employee grievances and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies. HR Operations & Administration: Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures. Manage employee attendance, leave records, and other HR-related administrative tasks. Coordinate with other departments for HR-related processes and requirements. Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as required. Performance Management: Support the implementation of the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms. Assist in tracking performance management timelines and ensuring timely completion of appraisals. Learning & Development: Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training programs for employees. Maintain training records and track employee participation. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations. Assist in maintaining HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements. Other Responsibilities: Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices. Perform any other duties as assigned by the HR Manager. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a corporate setting. Sound understanding of HR principles, practices, and relevant labor laws. Proven experience in handling recruitment processes. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with HRIS. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
