About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive HR and Operations Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides hands-on experience across a range of HR functions and operational tasks within a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll gain exposure to recruitment, onboarding, documentation, vendor coordination, and cross-team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Hiring Support

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates across various roles.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews and follow-ups.
  • Help conduct initial candidate assessments.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external hiring agencies to ensure timely delivery of candidate profiles for multiple roles.

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Support the onboarding process to ensure a seamless and positive experience for new hires.
  • Prepare and manage documentation, welcome kits, and onboarding communications.

Administrative & Operational Tasks

  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
  • Update internal databases and trackers.
  • Assist in planning and execution of internal events, meetings, and team-building activities.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Provide general support to various departments as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Prior internship experience in HR or operations is a plus

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Comfortable using communication and collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.

  • Comfortable using HR Software and job portals like, Linkedin Recruiter, Ashby, Wellfound, Indeed, IIM Jobs etc.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.

  • Availability to commit 35- 40 hours/week.
