📝 Job Title: HR Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist Job SummaryAn HR Recruiter manages the full-cycle recruitment process — from understanding hiring needs and sourcing candidates to interviewing, negotiating offers, and onboarding new hires. This role collaborates with hiring managers to build effective recruitment strategies, anticipate future hiring needs, and uphold the employer brand. Key Responsibilities *Collaborate with managers to craft and maintain accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. *Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract both active and passive candidates via job boards, social media, referrals, and industry events (e.g., career fairs). *Source and build talent pipelines proactively, including candidate profiling, Boolean search, and networking. *Screen resumes, conduct phone/video/in-person interviews, and shortlist candidates. *Administer assessments or tests where applicable and evaluate candidate competencies. *Handle logistics: scheduling interviews, organizing candidate interactions, and facilitating hiring events. *Conduct reference checks and assist with background verification. *Negotiate salary, benefits, and employment offers; extend and follow-up offers with candidates. *Support new hires during onboarding, guiding them through company policies, orientation, and integration. *Maintain and update ATS/HRIS systems, manage recruitment data, and generate reports on metrics like time‑to‑hire, cost‑per‑hire, quality of hire, and source-of-hire. *Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies regarding diversity and equal opportunity recruitment. *Represent the company at external recruitment events, job fairs, and campus/industry meet-ups. *Propose improvements in processes, tools, and sourcing channels to enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate experience. Essential Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline. Typically 1+ years of experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role; agency or corporate experience may be valued Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS.
