Job Title: HR Manager – Construction Industry Location: Delhi/NCR Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / Real Estate Experience: 5–10 years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage the human resources functions of our construction company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, managing recruitment and retention, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting a productive work environment both on-site and at the corporate level. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Staffing: Develop and execute recruitment strategies for hiring skilled and unskilled workers, engineers, supervisors, and administrative staff. Collaborate with project managers to forecast manpower requirements. Manage end-to-end recruitment including onboarding and induction programs. Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives. Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in a fair and timely manner. Promote health and safety awareness in accordance with construction site regulations. Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs for both site and office employees. Ensure compliance with mandatory safety training and certifications. Compliance & Legal: Ensure adherence to labor laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate HR records and documentation for audits and legal compliance. Performance Management: Implement and monitor performance evaluation systems. Support managers in goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans. Payroll & Compensation: Coordinate with finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Monitor compensation structures and recommend adjustments to remain competitive. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5-10 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector. Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in the construction industry. Experience managing a diverse workforce, including field and blue-collar employees. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of industry-specific compliance Experience with union negotiations or large-scale site HR management is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
