Job Description

Position: Head – Human Resources (Male)

Location: Mumbai- Bandra west

Experience: 15–20 years (preferably in core manufacturing/process setups)

Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO

Employment Type: Full-time Working Days: [Monday to Saturday]

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Strategy & Leadership Development
  • Design and implement long-term workforce planning aligned with business goals
  • Drive leadership pipeline development and succession planning across verticals
  • Partner with management to foster a high-performance leadership culture
  • Performance & Capability Management
  • Build and refine performance management systems linked to KPIs and business impact
  • Identify and close capability gaps through structured interventions
  • Introduce continuous feedback mechanisms and robust appraisal cycles
  • Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for plant and corporate roles
  • Develop compelling employer branding strategies to attract top manufacturing talent
  • Establish hiring forecasts and align recruitment processes with business cycles
  • Learning & Development
  • Build a manufacturing-focused L&D roadmap that includes safety, compliance, and technical upskilling
  • Oversee delivery of trainings and assess learning effectiveness
  • Encourage continuous learning culture from shop floor to senior leadership
  • Employee Engagement & Retention
  • Design and execute employee engagement programs tailored to a plant/manufacturing workforce
  • Monitor attrition trends and implement retention strategies
  • Act as a trusted advisor and cultural custodian
  • HR Governance & Analytics
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulatory audits, and internal policies
  • Utilize HR analytics to drive strategic decision-making
  • Maintain discipline, ethical standards, and policy frameworks
  • HR Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop an effective HR team across units
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable HR outcomes
  • Manage budgets, resource planning, and departmental performance

Candidate Profile:

  • Male candidate with strong HR generalist exposure in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sector
  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent professional qualification
  • Deep knowledge of IR, compliance, safety norms, and labor law
  • Strong people skills, business acumen, and strategic thinking
  • Hands-on, decisive, and grounded in factory-floor realities

Salary: Commensurate with industry standards

Joining: Immediate/Soon only

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
