The Head HR

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals. Act as a trusted advisor to the management on people-related matters.

- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead recruitment across levels, especially for plant and factory roles. Build strong talent pipelines and reduce attrition through effective retention strategies.

- Employee Relations & Engagement: Maintain a positive work environment, drive employee engagement initiatives, and address grievances and disciplinary issues promptly.

- Compliance & Statutory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all labour laws, factory acts, and regulatory requirements. Liaise with legal and government authorities as needed.

- HR Operations: Oversee payroll, HRIS, performance management systems, and other operational aspects of HR.

- Training & Development: Identify training needs and roll out learning and development programs, especially around GMP, hygiene, and safety in the food industry.

- Culture Building: Promote a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement at all levels.

- Union Handling (if applicable): Manage union relationships and collective bargaining processes with professionalism and balance.

Key Requirements:

- 12 to 18 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of labour laws, factory HR, and compliance-related matters.

- Proven experience managing multi-plant operations or large workforce environments.

- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people management skills.

- MBA in HR / Postgraduate degree in HR preferred.
