General Manager – HSE & Operations


🚀 What You’ll Own

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of HSE services across film sets, events, and real estate projects
  • Design and implement SOPs and workflows for Safety, Security & Sustainability
  • Optimize operations using technology and data-driven tools
  • Work closely with the CEO to expand Life First’s footprint and service excellence


Team Building & Mentorship

  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring of Safety Marshals, Fire Officers & HSE professionals
  • Conduct site audits, team refreshers, and performance reviews
  • Build a high-performance culture across teams


Client & Site Management

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple on-ground sites
  • Travel regularly across locations (pan-India); 

    must be open to travel and ideally have personal commute options

  • Maintain KPIs/SLAs and deliver exceptional stakeholder engagement
  • Represent Life First in high-level client meetings, planning sessions, and presentations


Compliance, Risk & Documentation

  • Enforce compliance with all safety and environmental norms
  • Drive risk assessments, RCA implementation, and incident reporting
  • Manage cost sheets, invoicing accuracy, and timely submissions


🛠 Must-Have Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management

     skills
  • Strong presentation abilities

     (PPTs, reports, dashboards, etc.)
  • Comfortable using AI tools and automation

     to enhance reporting and documentation
  • Willingness to travel frequently

     to various project sites across India
  • Comfortable working a 

    Monday–Saturday

     schedule in a dynamic, fast-paced environment


🎓 Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in 

    Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Marine Engineering

  • Preferred certifications: 

    NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, ADIS

  • Minimum 

    9+ years of experience

     in HSE operations in film, real estate, construction, or hospitality sectors
