Operating through a nationwide network of social entrepreneurs and a dedicated professional team, BJS has significantly impacted grassroots communities. The organization not only engages actively with central, state, and local governments but also collaborates closely with national level NGOs, influencing policy formulation and decision-making processes.


Job Summary:

     We are seeking a friendly, professional, and well-organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. The ideal candidate will handle front-desk responsibilities with grace, provide administrative support across departments, and ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.


Key Responsibilities:

·        Greet and welcome guests, clients, and employees with a positive, helpful attitude.

·        Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.

·        Manage the front desk area and ensure it is tidy and presentable.

·        Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries/couriers.

·        Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.

·        Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for meeting rooms or executives (if required).

·        Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.

·        Coordinate with internal departments for smooth communication flow.

·        Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges (if applicable).

·        Manage basic office supplies and keep track of inventory.



Requirements:

·        High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or diploma in administration or hospitality is a plus.

·        Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

·        Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., printers, fax machines).

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·        Professional attitude and appearance.

·        Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

·        Customer service attitude.
