Flexera Specialist-Remote

We are seeking an experienced Flexera Specialist to manage and optimize our software asset management (SAM) and hardware asset management (HAM) practices using Flexera One / FlexNet Manager Suite. The ideal candidate will hold a Flexera certification and have hands-on experience in managing end-to-end ITAM/SAM lifecycles, including license tracking, software compliance, entitlement management, and optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities:

· Administer and maintain Flexera FNMS/Flexera One to support software asset management operations across the organization.

· Manage the complete SAM lifecycle, including planning, provisioning, tracking, utilization, and retirement of software assets.

· Collaborate with procurement, vendors, and internal stakeholders for software license acquisition, onboarding, deployment, and disposal.

· Configure and maintain license models, entitlements, product use rights, and normalization rules in Flexera.

· Generate and analyze reports such as:

o Software Compliance Reports

o ELP (Effective License Position)

o Utilization and Optimization Dashboards

o License Consumption Reports

· Perform software harvesting and reclamation to reduce costs and maximize license utilization.

· Support audits and ensure compliance with vendor licensing agreements (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle).

· Integrate Flexera with tools like ServiceNow, SCCM, JAMF, or Active Directory for data ingestion and normalization.

. Provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities, renewals, and contract negotiations based on accurate asset intelligence

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of hands-on experience administering and integrating Flexera tools, including FlexNet Manager Suite and/or Flexera One.

· Flexera Certification (e.g., Flexera Certified Administrator or equivalent) is mandatory.

· Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Software Asset Management with Flexera FNMS or Flexera One.

· Strong knowledge of IT asset management, software licensing practices, and major software licensing models

· Experience generating compliance and optimization reports.

· Familiarity with ITSM and CMDB systems, especially ServiceNow.

· Strong reporting and data analysis skills using Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
