About The Rule

Event Management Internship

You will work closely with our experienced teams across various departments, contributing to the successful delivery of the India Designer Show. This is an unparalleled opportunity to learn the intricacies of large-scale event management, from logistics and vendor coordination to attendee experience and marketing support, all within the glamorous backdrop of India's premier design and luxury event.

Key Responsibility

As an Event Management Intern, you will actively support the team across various crucial areas, which may include:

• Logistics & Operations:

  Assisting with venue setup, managing inventory, coordinating with vendors (e.g., caterers, audiovisual teams, decorators), and ensuring smooth on-site operations.

• Attendee & Exhibitor Relations:

  Supporting registration processes, assisting with attendee inquiries, and helping manage exhibitor requirements and communications.

• Marketing & Promotions:

  Aiding in the distribution of marketing materials, supporting social media efforts, and assisting with promotional activities to drive attendance and engagement.

• Administrative Support:

  Performing various administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining databases, preparing documents, and managing correspondence.

• On-site Support:

  Being a key support person during the event days, assisting with problem-solving, guest flow, and ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.

• Research & Analysis:

  Conducting research on potential partners, market trends, and assisting in post-event reporting and analysis.

• Team Collaboration:

  Working effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, PR, and Creative to ensure cohesive event delivery.

Occupation

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A genuine passion for events, particularly within the luxury, fashion, or design sectors.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude, eager to learn, and capable of taking initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, leading up to and during the event.
• Prior volunteer experience or involvement in college events is a plus.
