Engineering Manager (Execution- Green Hydrogen)

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager – Green Hydrogen to lead the technical development, engineering design, and technology integration for green hydrogen production projects. The role requires expertise in electrolyser technologies (PEM/Alkaline), process design, safety systems, and integration with renewable energy and hydrogen storage solutions. The Engineering Manager will collaborate closely with project teams, OEMs, EPC contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure the technical integrity and success of projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead basic and detailed engineering for Green Hydrogen production facilities (Electrolyser units, Balance of Plant, Compression, Storage, Dispensing). Define and review technical specifications, equipment sizing, P&IDs, PFDs, HAZOP studies. Interface with electrolyser suppliers (PEM/Alkaline), compressor, storage, and utility vendors for technology selection. Support project feasibility studies, techno-economic assessments, and system integration with renewable energy (solar/wind/BESS). Ensure compliance with safety codes, PESO guidelines, and applicable standards (ASME, API, IEC, NFPA). Review and approve design documents, datasheets, engineering drawings, and vendor deliverables. Manage engineering deliverables during EPC and commissioning phases. Evaluate new technologies, process improvements, and pilot projects in Green Hydrogen. Collaborate with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Process Engineering. Master's in Energy Systems, Process Design, or related field (preferred). Experience: 4–6 years of engineering experience in process/chemical/energy industries. At least 1 years of hands-on experience in Green Hydrogen / Electrolyser technology / Hydrogen infrastructure. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of electrolyser systems (Alkaline/PEM), Hydrogen compression, storage, and dispensing. Understanding of Balance of Plant (BoP) design, safety systems (H2 detection, venting), and renewable integration. Process simulation, heat and mass balance calculations, and plant optimization.
