We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain mission-critical Oracle database systems across development, testing, and production environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Oracle 11g/12c/19c, experience in performance tuning, backup & recovery, and a solid understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.As an Oracle DBA, you will work closely with application developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of the database environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database instances (11g, 12c, 19c) in various environments.
Monitor and optimize database performance using tools like AWR, ADDM, OEM, and custom scripts.
Perform database backups, restores, and recovery using RMAN, Data Pump, and other utilities.
Manage database security, including user roles, privileges, encryption, and audit configurations.
Implement and manage HA/DR solutions such as Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and ASM.
Conduct capacity planning, database sizing, and storage management.
Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts for maintenance tasks, automation, and monitoring.
Ensure data integrity and availability through rigorous change control and quality assurance processes.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application rollouts and system upgrades.
Monitor alert logs, system performance metrics, and proactively address issues to avoid downtime.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during off-hours for critical database-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
Hands-on expertise with Oracle versions 11g, 12c, and 19c on Linux/Unix and Windows platforms.
Strong experience with Oracle Backup & Recovery using RMAN.
Proficiency in Performance Tuning, SQL tuning, and database health checks.
Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
Solid understanding of Oracle architecture, data dictionary views, and internals.
Strong scripting skills in Shell, Perl, or Python for automation.
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and maintenance.
Working knowledge of ETL processes, data migration, and integration with third-party systems.
Familiarity with cloud-based Oracle deployments (OCI, AWS RDS for Oracle, Azure).
Knowledge of compliance and audit standards related to data security and retention.
