DevOps engineer job description: we're looking for a DevOps engineer to help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience DevOps engineer can be responsible for deploying product updates identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and be familiar with CICD tools like Azure Devops etc and will work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended The DevOps engineer will also be responsible in building implementing new infrastructure needs in public cloud services Azure AWS etc. Objectives of this role: Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended Ensuring the infrastructure devops processes are modernized in the project by well designed and groomed framework or architecture Understanding the needs of stakeholders and work towards solving those requirements Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes Understanding DevSecOps principles work on different code scanning tools Required skills and qualifications: Proficiency with source code version control solution GitHub Azure Repos Bitbucket Proficient build and release management and experienced in one of the CICD tools Azure Devops Jenkins preferably Azure Devops including setup templating and configuration Strong understanding of security principles and secrets management eg HashiCorp Vault CyberArk azure Key vault Managed Docker Orchestration and Docker Containerization using Kubernetes AKS etc Used any package manager like helm Expertise in one of hyperscale cloud services Azure AWS preferably Azure including basic services like networking data and workload management Infrastructure automation Terraform pulumi CloudFormation write modules setup pipeline and version the code Experienced in using different devops tools for antifactory vaults code scanning tools Scripting experience Python, Power, shell, Bash automation in pipelines when required Problem-solving attitude Collaborative team spirit Show more Show less
