Job Title: Development Manager – Automobile Tools & Parts Location: Amit Engineering and Tools Pvt. Ltd., V 9 MIDC Area, Wasuli, Chakan, Pune Region, Maharashtra. Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Development Manager with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in the development of automobile tools and parts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical or automobile engineering, be well-versed with industry documentation standards and company functioning across various OEMs and have a proven track record in business development and project execution. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end product development projects for automobile tools and parts. Coordinate with OEMs and Tier-1 vendors for technical documentation, approvals, and project milestones. Identify new business opportunities and drive business development strategies in domestic and international markets. Collaborate with design, production, quality, and marketing teams to ensure on-time and cost-effective product launches. Maintain a deep understanding of engineering processes, material selection, tool design, and product costing. Prepare and present technical proposals, costing sheets, and project plans to internal and external stakeholders. Act as a key liaison with client engineers, procurement departments, and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with quality standards, certifications, and documentation protocols as per customer requirements. Build and maintain strategic relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and technical partners. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering. 4 to 6 years of experience in automobile tools and parts development projects. In-depth knowledge of automobile industry processes, standards, and documentation. Strong skills in project management, client handling, and business development. Fluent communication in Marathi, Hindi, English, and at least one additional language like Japanese or German. Proficient in part costing, value engineering, and BOM analysis. Familiarity with industry software tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, ERP systems, etc. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Attributes: Prior experience in working with leading OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers. Exposure to international projects or overseas client management. Certification in Project Management (PMP/Prince2) is an added advantage. Willingness to travel for project coordination, audits, or client meetings.
