Develop
database solutions
using
Oracle 19c and above, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or other distributed databases
.
Optimize
database performance
, indexing strategies, partitioning, and
query tuning
.
Define
data governance policies
to ensure compliance with
financial regulations (PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.)
.
Design and implement
ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and real-time analytics
solutions.
Work closely with
application architects, DevOps engineers, and security teams
to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
Automate database deployment and monitoring using
Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes operators
.
Provide
guidance on database migrations, upgrades, and cloud adoption strategies
.
Ensure
data security best practices
, encryption, and access control mechanisms are in place.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
10-12 years of experience
in database architecture and engineering.
Strong expertise in
SQL and NoSQL databases
such as
Oracle 19c and above, PostgreSQL, MySQL,

MongoDB, Cassandra, or Google Spanner
.
Good to have knowledge of
cloud-native database solutions
(AWS RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Google Cloud Spanner, Cosmos DB, etc.).
Proficiency in
performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing techniques
.
Experience with
database security principles, encryption, access control, and compliance regulations
.
Knowledge of
ETL pipelines, data lakes, and real-time data processing
.
Familiarity with
DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, etc.)
