Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures (e.g., databases, large-scale processing systems).
• Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data integration from various sources.
• Optimize data systems for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all datasets.
• Automate repetitive data tasks and improve pipeline efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines and processes.
• Document systems, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi).
• Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Good understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CI/CD for data applications.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to data governance and compliance standards.
