Cost Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant with a CMA certification and 2–4 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost analysis, variance analysis, reporting, and ensuring compliance with cost accounting standards. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions like Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Analysis & Control:

Analyze costs of raw materials, labor, and overhead to ensure accurate cost allocation and control.

• Variance Analysis:

Perform standard cost variance analysis and identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.

• Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare detailed and timely cost reports, profitability analysis, and management reports to assist in strategic decision-making.

• Budgeting & Forecasting Support:

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by providing relevant cost data and projections.

• Compliance & Auditing:

Ensure adherence to internal cost accounting procedures and support audits by preparing required documentation and analysis.

• Data Management & Tools:

Use advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, etc.) to manage and analyze large datasets efficiently.

Required Skills:

• Certification in Cost Management Accounting (CMA)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• In-depth knowledge of costing methodologies and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience in cost variance analysis, profitability analysis, and reporting
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel (Advanced level)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
