Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, analyzing, and controlling cost data to support management in strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are looking to build a strong foundation in cost and management accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and analyzing cost reports and costing data.
• Maintain cost accounting systems and ensure accurate cost allocation.
• Support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Monitor inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Collaborate with production and operations departments to ensure accuracy in costing data.
• Assist in cost audits and internal financial reviews.
• Contribute to the implementation of cost-saving measures and operational efficiency improvements.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CMA (Inter) or pursuing CMA/CA will be an added advantage.
• 0–2 years of experience in cost or management accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and costing techniques.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
