Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Cloud / Azure Stack HCI SME to join our infrastructure team. This role is responsible for planning, designing, deploying, and supporting hybrid cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Azure Stack HCI. You will serve as a senior technical resource for both project delivery and 3rd line support escalations, driving automation, operational excellence, and knowledge sharing. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure & Design Design and implement enterprise-level Azure cloud and Azure Stack HCI solutions. Participate in project-based work including proof-of-concepts, architecture design, and implementation. Migrate on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure. Support & Incident Management Act as a 3rd line support SME for Azure and Azure Stack HCI incidents. Guide and mentor L1 and L2 support teams to resolve issues and enhance knowledge. Ensure all support tickets are resolved within SLA timelines and escalate as needed. Automation & Operational Excellence Develop automated scripts and workflows to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks. Maintain and update operational procedure documentation regularly. Escalation Management Manage escalations to internal teams or Microsoft Premier Support to resolve complex technical issues. Serve as the escalation point for critical incidents impacting service delivery. Knowledge Management & Collaboration Share expertise with team members through documentation, workshops, and informal coaching. Contribute to building a knowledge-based support culture within the organization. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Experience: 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles. 4+ years working with Microsoft Azure cloud services. 1+ year experience specifically in Azure Stack HCI and hardware management. Strong expertise in Azure Networking, Azure Monitor, and infrastructure troubleshooting. Experience deploying: Azure Active Directory and integration with on-prem AD Azure VMs, storage, and backup solutions Azure Virtual Network Gateways, ExpressRoute, and VPNs Load balancing, Azure Site Recovery, and disaster recovery strategies Familiarity with Azure RBAC and IAM policies. Certifications (Preferred): AZ-300 / AZ-303 – Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies AZ-301 / AZ-304 – Microsoft Azure Architect Design AZ-700 – Azure Network Engineer Associate
