Role overview:

Key responsibilities:

• Manages and executes Viscometer/Hydrometer, Ford Cup, and Viscosity of liquid calibration orders as per schedule.
• Mechanical (Viscosity and Density) laboratory maintenance - Plans and executes calibration and maintenance for laboratory related instruments as per maintenance plan and schedule.
• Plans, prepares, involves in ISO 17025 audit activities as per internal / external audit schedule having experience of facing NABL audit will be preferred.
• Performs basic documentation duties such as maintain calibration records, revaluation report and generate standard calibration reports as per ISO/Factory standards.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor/masters in chemistry and Degree/diploma in engineering preferably in Mechanical, Instrumentation or Electronics with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Candidate with knowledge on Viscosity and Density measurement and instruments is mandatory.
• Candidate with knowledge on Pressure, Force, Torque measurement and instruments is preferable.
• Understanding of instrumentation and configuration tool is required. Software knowledge is advantageous. E.g. Field communicators, Instrument communication software  etc.
• Effective verbal communication and good writing skills.
• A team player with strong problem-solving skills and task oriented.
• Ability to work and communicate with multicultural partners
