Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and reaching out to potential clients through cold calling and other lead generation techniques. This role is pivotal in driving company growth and expanding our client base.


Key Responsibilities:


Cold Calling & Lead Generation:


Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to potential clients.

Qualify leads and set up appointments for the sales team.

Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate lead information and call outcomes.


Market & Competitor Research:


Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, target sectors, and potential opportunities.

Analyse competitor offerings and identify ways to differentiate our products/services.


Business Development:


Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through various channels (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events).

Assist in developing outreach strategies and pitch materials.

Support sales campaigns and follow up on marketing initiatives.


Collaboration & Reporting:


Work closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to align outreach efforts.

Prepare weekly reports on lead generation, market research findings, and outreach performance.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.

Proven experience with cold calling and lead generation.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct thorough research.

Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Skills:


Experience in B2B sales or working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Knowledge of [industry-specific knowledge if applicable].

Ability to handle objections and work towards solutions under pressure.
