§ Timely Estimating & Billing, Excellent knowledge of BBS.
§ Continuous communication with Site office for work progress and Record of executed work i.e., reports after execution, daily progress report.
§ DPR, SOP, Client Bill preparation, Checking Sub contractor bills, Quality Assurance Plan etc.
§ Preparing bill of quantities and contracting of work.
§ To check Quantities considered in the various contractors running account Bills.
§ Checking and approving the quantities for the extra items / Substituted items.
§ Checking and approving the rate analysis for the extra items.
§ Checking the final quantities and approving the quantities of the final bills.
§ Preparing bills for payments and estimating quantities & order of materials for construction.
§ Rate analysis and Analysis of rates of Non BOQ items.
§ Checking the work as per architectural & structural drawing and maintaining the record of inspection. Planning the work execution and monitoring the daily activity of construction
§ Drawings of Layouts of plan, marking & setting out of building.
§ Active involvement in project concept preparation inputs.
§ Monitor and control actual expenditure with budget and ensure completion of the works within budgeted cost.
§ Project Micro Planning & Scheduling, Coordinating and scheduling of daily progress.
§ Maintaining daily work done report and labour reports.
§ Assisting Project Manager in reconciliation & certification of final bills of contractors, suppliers, vendors and consultants for the project.
§ Assisting Project Manager in Preparation of Project close out report and submitting the same to the clients for its approval.
§ Preparation of draft Abstract & certificate of payment & billing related Formats.
§ To interact with the Project Manager & Project Engineers to ascertain that certifications as per drawing / proper execution as per plan.
§ Assist Project Manager for Preparation of Monthly cash outflow statements.
§ Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities.
§ Obtain factored / sub supplier costs where necessary.
§ Prepare technical & commercial proposals.
§ Attend clarification meetings with Client when required.
§ Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines.
§ Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order.
§ Participate in and actively support company initiatives.
§ Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements.
§ Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices, and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
§ All other duties as relevant to the post.
§ Responsible for Technical / Engineering delivery of proposals / Tenders for all assigned Tenders
§ Thoroughly review Tender Documents which includes Design Documents, Drawings, Specifications, Data Sheets, Calculations etc. and Clearly define the scope of Project.
§ Prepare Technical submittals as per Bid / Tender requirements which includes (but not limited to) methods, plans, organization, implementation strategies, specialized method statements and commissioning plants etc.
§ Prepare / raise pre-tender queries etc and coordinate with owner department /client for clarification.
§ Development alternative technical proposals as and where required.
§ Involve in all post tender activities till contract award including (but no limited to) attendance on meeting with clients /consultants, clarification of post tender queries, techno commercial negotiation etc.
