Role Description This is a contract remote role for a Backend Developer. The Backend Developer will be responsible for implementing server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end, managing the interchange of data between the server and users, integrating front-end elements, and optimizing applications for speed and scalability. Tasks include database design, deployment, and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD). Tech stack FastAPI, SQLAlchemy Database: SQLite, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB Storage: AWS S3 Auth: JWT Qualifications Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python (FastAPI) Experience with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or others Skills in designing RESTful APIs and working with web services Knowledge in server, network, and hosting environment Understanding of security compliance Experience with version control systems, such as Git Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and remotely Show more Show less
