Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Backend Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining robust backend systems using Node.js. The ideal candidate will have experience working on real-world projects, strong understanding of backend architecture, and a passion for writing efficient, secure, and scalable code.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Node.js
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Design scalable, maintainable architecture aligned with project goals
• Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders
• Write clean, secure, well-documented code
• Optimize performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot bugs
• Implement and maintain databases (SQL/NoSQL as per use case)
• Ensure best practices in security, testing, version control, and documentation
• Participate in regular code reviews and agile ceremonies

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus)
• Strong understanding of Express.js, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or equivalent databases
• Familiarity with JWT, OAuth2, and API security mechanisms
• Knowledge of caching systems like Redis
• Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, and deployment pipelines
• Understanding of server-side performance tuning and load handling
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) is a plus
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and basic DevOps is a plus
